Creating a funny, arcade-style car racing game was an incredibly rewarding experience. There’s something hilariously satisfying about developing a game on your own—only to struggle at playing it yourself! I couldn’t stop laughing as I tried to play the game.
What I have learned:
Adding a sphere with a rigidbody and using it for the car movements in order to achieve more arcade style physics was a nice touch and a good hint from the game industry.
Using different Mathf methods – which I had not used very often – for various problem solutions.
My contributions:
I added new tracks. Changed the sound system and implemented button sounds.
I am going to change the scripts, adopt the code and the project structure to my coding practices.
